Bukhari (from Bukhara) are also in abundance in Pakistan. Z A Bukhari, Naeem Bukhari are some famous personalities. I've yet to see some Samarqandi :D
Yes Bukhari, Gillani (Gillan is in Iran I believe) and so on.

Yes Bukhari, Gillani (Gillan is in Iran I believe) and so on.
There is confusion between Jilani and Gilani. Any difference?

yes i believe what ever business they do, they use as a part of their name. Funny for us though.

I think they are the same thing, difference in pronounciation perhaps.

There is confusion between Jilani and Gilani. Any difference?
jilani and gilani are derived from gilan/jilan(city in iran)
and hindu sindhis have last name like .....
Advani,gadwani,dipnai,and galani...all most of them ends with a NI...:D

Rajkumar Hirani.. but there are Aahoja Sindhi as well. Chawlas are Sindhi too
