Sahibzada

Please elaborate on such titles in our culture…

Re: Sahibzada

come again

Re: Sahibzada

sahibzada is a laqb usually for respecttt .. usually with someone whose father is well knwn figure - as a peer or sheikh, and then his son is refered to as sahibzada of fulaan fulaan person ..

^^ Is this what is being asked :hmmm:

Re: Sahibzada

actually no....I am aware of the fact that this term is used as a laqb but I believe that it is used otherwise as well; also for respect but perhaps with a more structured background.....

I will need to do some research and present an example perhaps.....

**
saaHab zaade beTe ke liye bhi bolaa jaataa hai jaise aapke saahabzaade kia kar rahe haiN yaa ek aur bhi hai...jaise...laRkii ke liye rishta aataa hai to gharwaale use laRke kaa naam le kar discuss nai karte bal k kahte ahiN k saahabzaade kaun haiN kia karte haiN etc...etc...it all depends...its used also as a pronoun**

Re: Sahibzada

I am not referring to its use as a pronoun....I am referring to it's use as a title.....where it is actually part of the person's proper name.

Re: Sahibzada

Muzna baji you are correct. I have heard people have names such as sahibzada or khanzada.

i don't get it...saahabzada is a title which has been mentioned like sahibzada yaqoob ali khaN...there aren't many more that i 'm aware of.

in olden days, saahabzaada was also used in addresses to identify a person jaise Naseem ahmad shaahabzaadaa shameem ahmad

i don't know exactly what u are asking...sorry! :(**

Re: Sahibzada

Jaise ke hamare Afridi is : Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi :hula:

Re: Sahibzada

^Oh yeh lol and sahibzada did such a reckless drive and got out!

Re: Sahibzada

^ Sahibzaday ke baray mein kuch ghallat nai kehna :asa:

Banda out ho bhi jata hai

Re: Sahibzada

**btw, saaHabzaada is a title and saahabzaade is a pronoun for a son or someone young or even son-in-law...u never say...shabzada kaise ho? ... that wud mean u r talking to someone whose title is sahabzada or its a part of his name. so:

saaHabzaada = title or part of the name
saaHabzaade = used for son, youngman, son-in-laws

bahooot baarek farq hai...keep that in mind :)**
