'Safi'

My Pakistani beautician recommended I get this Indo/Pakistani herbal concoction (by Hamdard) as it improves the skin. It purifies the blood and heals blemishes, acne etc. I hadn’t heard of it and when I came home asked my parents about it, and they both knew so my mum got me some from the Indian grocery store the other day. Apparantly lots of girls in Pakistan take it. Anyone tried it and does it work? I just had my first dosage today - held my nose as it stinks quite badly.

The label is really funny, it says “improves skin, removes acne, blemishes and helps you to stay slim and smart” - that just cracked me up! :hehe:

Re: ‘Safi’

:rotfl:

Re: 'Safi'

well I;ve had it too..and it does improve your skin and does make you more alert...and improves memory...it also help in clearing out toxins..totally herbal and safe...

Re: 'Safi'

It helps digestion. The idea is to make you regular and it helps the skin too. You are right it stinks but works for some. "slim and smart" is just a sales pitch..but you are already slim and smart... :-p

Re: 'Safi'

Hm maybe I should try it :)

Re: 'Safi'

that stuff really worked for me before my wedding...it tasted like crap but it did wonders for my skin! The only problem i had was, i was already too skinny as it is and it made me lose more weight and i started fainting left right and centre...so i just cut back the dosage to like 3 times a week. So just make sure u eat right and drink a lot of water while u take it!

Re: 'Safi'

It basically purifies your blood. Helps with digestion mostly with constipation issues and once constipation is cured, your acne and blemishes are suppose to get better. I have heard good things about it. It is basically curing the root of the problem.

Re: 'Safi'

I have never tried it myself but as long as it is herbal I don't
think there would be any harm in trying it.

Re: 'Safi'

what's it called?

Re: 'Safi'

It is good. It does what many of you have described. I have used it myself. The only draw-back is its taste.

Re: ‘Safi’

Re: 'Safi'

^^oh no :(

Re: ‘Safi’

Safi’s ingredients do not contain any metals! :konfused:
I need to know if there is any.

Re: 'Safi'

Just because the ingrediants dont list any metals doesnt mean there arnt any, the metal can be in the form of the 'natural herbs' they use, as plants can and do absorb such things from the soil.
