Saeed Anwar loses daughter

I just read this sad news. May Allah gives her parents the strength to overcome this grief and may her soul rests in peace.(Ameen)

Source: The News

Pakistan opener Saeed Anwar lost his daughter on Friday. The three-and-a-half year old Bismah passed away after a prolonged illness. Saeed, who was playing in the Asian Test Championshiop game against Bangladesh in Multan, has reached Lahore.

That is really sad. I have read the story, it is terrible. Does anybody know if Mr. Anwar has any other daughters or sons?

… may Allah help the parents in their pain.

what would you do if you were to know about the cause… lets say she died of poor facility? would you provide some better facilities to Pakistan? or would you use this news to ‘bash Pakistan’ / ‘criticize’ from luxury of your home?

She was their only daughter.

As for the poor health facility....well her mom's a doctor, so that can't be the reason.

This is very very sad, indeed. May ALLAH give her a place in heaven....AMIN!

may Allah rest her soul in peace n give her parents courage their big loss.

A friend of mine who is Saeed's cousin got married a few years back in England. I was at the wedding and met him and his family. She was a beautiful child. May Allah bless her.

My deepest condolences to Saeed and Family. I was shocked when I heard the news. They had just come to the states a few months back and stayed with my sister.

Any loss of life is sad and tragic but I guess it hits us more when they are children.. because they are so innocent and helpless.
