AS far as I know they both are taken in high esteem in Islam. So what is the essential difference between them? That of neeyat only? Can anyone please elaborate some more on it and also if there is anything specific about giving away sadqa and khairaat.

Khairaat kernay say rizq mah barkaat ati hain.
Sadqaa kernay say mushkilay tal jati hain.
