The noori chamchaz have nothing else to offer but piracy through dead music websites and file sharing servers
Some of them think that Junoon copied Ghoom Tana from Noori, where Ali Noor himself is singing ![]()
Well, now youre insulting Indian fans. Not very wise. Their entertainment industry is far bigger than ours. And did you know Junoon played to 60,000 people in India recently? Now what would happen if we send some new band, like Noori there, despite the fact that their live performances suck bigtime, even their own manager said that.
Talking about critics not giving a good review, well most of the reviews you must have read are some vocal junoon bashers on the internet. I could present the reviews from Dawn, Jang, and numerous other reputable sources that have called the album a breakthrough.
You said Junoon is contributing to Pakistani music’s downfall, well may I remind you that they are the only ones who had good album sales, with not only an album that did 10million in 2 weeks but also excellent videos so far in the form of Tara and Pappu (not those bubble gum videos by fuzon, and the bon jovi rip offs by noori). Keep your fingers crossed too, I have seen the preview of the Ghoom Tanna Video, looks incredible!
P.S. lets keep the personal attacks out in the discussion plz?
Once again the focus has shifted to Junoon. May I remind you guys that the sad state of affairs is due to the breakups and slow sales of other bands in Pakistan. I heard Jal is in talks of a reunion? Dont know if its true or not.

once again, a band that has songs like "maza zindagi ka" and opening riff of pappu yar should be the last to talk about "bubble gum" videos and rip offs.
And you are right usman ( I lick junoon's butt for living) junooni. Their music is not for my ears, I am not a cab-walla from punjab.
And noori concerts always draw huge crowds. Example would be the latest isloo concert.
Noori hasn't even tried to get into bhindian market. However i will tell you this, they will probably fail. bindians like hulka-phulka songs they can listen and tap their feet to. Something that junoon has mastered over the years but not bands like noori. Plus remember, noori, fuzon, ep and other bands has a grand total of ONE album. They have just started off, they are not some band which has been around 10 years.
by the way, usman (I suck junoon's cock) junooni, what is with the reply you keep coming back with. I do come back with answers, you just choose to ignore them. And i meant you are not a good pakistani either since you seem to not like noori, fuzon, ep and choose to discourage them.

I guess sayonee, saien, and all the other great songs are ripped off too? As for the opening riff of Pappu, Salman already said on the official forum that he was going to pay tribute to hendrix, using one of his guitar riffs in one of his new albums. Its just that some guy in bandbaja (who wanted to show he listened to hendrix) discovered that after the album came out and statred making a fuss out of it. Even after one year, they are putting up lame articles on that, even you said it was getting tiresome.
Noori, fuzon, ep cannot even dare perform outside of Pakistan. Strings tried that end of last year, and sadly I organized their concert, and a handful of people showed up in Chicago, where Junoon always has sold out shows. Its a great thing they are touring India, and I have heard thats where part of the ghoom tanna video was shot too.

It's not me who brought up the stealing of songs. I couldn't care less about that. All I am saying is you junoonis should be the last one to criticize others for doing the same **** that junoon does.
And like I said, junoon has a fan base that has been listening to them for close to 15 years now. noori, fuzon, ep all basically came out last year. ofcourse they won't have the same number of fans simply because bands like noori are still trying to reach bigger fame. And once again, junoon fans should be very proud that they are such a big draw in hindia. But the thing is, you will have a hard time convincing me that they know crap about band music. junoon has reached fame there through hulka phulka songs and I don't blame them for that. music is dictated by the audience. but noori and ep will have a hard time reaching fame there simply because their style of music is not suitable for a quam that listens to "it's the time to disco."
as far as strings are concerned, I do not know why people didn't go. But you will notice that I have never said anything that compares them to junoon. Although i am a big fan of their music also. It is just nice to listen to. kinda like a better version of hindi songs.

Atlanata, i have a suggestion for u bro. Reserve yr energy and utilize it somewhere else.
bro, u gotta understand that many of us have been brought up listening to Junoon ( i was 8 when i heared them first). Junoon is like part of many of us now.And personally, I believe it played a role in development on my character. And whether people ditch em or disc em, its pretty hard to dislike someone u associate yrself so closely to.
Jal is back, so is bandbaja, and you have plenty more artists on the horizon. Whats there to grumble about NOW? This has to be one of the best times for Pak pop!!
Atlanta, what halka phulka are you talking about? Its bands like Vital sings who came up with halka phulka stuff. Do you think Azadi was halka phulka
First you were saying that all that halka phulka stuff was the good stuff they were making, now youre saying its crap that India loves. I dont think youre making any sense with this argument and hindian/bhindian talk. Admit it, you never liked Junoon, and 10 years ago, you would have said the same thing about Junoon.
Junoon is still Pakistan’s best band by a long shot, no matter what. They know how to do live concerts, anyone whose been to one will know. I cant wait for the Deewar tour US to start! Pathan bhai, right on! Confetti, is the news about jal true, I already posted that but someone mentioned it was a rumour. As for bandbaja, it hardly has anything to do with Pakistani music. Like I said before, read the articles, especially the bashing articles, basically its the same stuff they published months ago, only that its not funny anymore.
P.s. read this latest article in India about Junoon’s music, the author said the reason why the music is so famous is exactly the opposite of being halka phulka ![]()
hmm, if VS comes up with cheap songs, i shudder to think what you call “pappu yar”. on the contrary, I love junoon. I love them for their earlier works. Infact if you can read properly, i have only questioned the content of their latest album, not their earlier works. heck, i even praised them for “garaj baras” which is fairly new. And we are a jahil quam just like hindia. we dance to the same “nach punjaban” just like them. that is why hindians and a portion of pak is identical.
and please don’t argue in a cycle. I have already said that junoon is still immensly popular. Why you chose to come back with the same “junoon is the best band” is beyond me.
