The news is a bit old (Yesterday) , but I didnt hear it till now, as my only source for news is jang online edition… I logged into it a short while ago.

well actually its a combination of various factors
As usual the building codes and safety procedures in third world country
Jihaalat, behaviour of the people. You cant pinpoint anyone.
Simple - When you have a LARGE gathering of people ANYWHERE .. You have to follow the basic safety principles, EXIT ROUTES , FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, AMBULANCES.... I am no expert with this, but there are a few things that fall under the category of common sense.
According to the reports there was JUST ONE SMALL EXIT for that huge crowd.
WOW - the organizers must be given a pat on their backs for this.

I know ... there hardly anyone in Pakistan who actually follows those safety rules.stuff like dis always happenz and ppl cry n talk abt it for couple of days and den forget abt it. Bohat Afsoos ki baat hai.
