To provide the background: I am playing Dragon Age: Origins a computer game where your decisions affect the environment around you. In this case one is sent on a quest where a demon has possessed a child. You have two options.

  1. Kill the child and thus kill the demon.
  2. Use Blood Magic - something that is blasphemous - sacrifice the mother and enter the demon world to kill the demon and let the child live.

Now is would not be a realistic case in our modern world. But if the question arose where you were placed in a situation where you were forced to decide between killing a child or killing his/her mother, what would you choose?

Essentially killing one will allow the other to live and you have no idea what the future holds.

kill them both and then yourself, that would be very realistic.

Oh yeah, if you've seen any Bollywood movie you must have heard the following:

"aap ma'a ko bachaiye daaktar sahab, bachay toh phir hosaktay hain...aap MA'A ko bachaiye!"

OR

"daakter sahab, **MA'A **ko kuch nahin hona chahiye!"

The demon and child are both lovers…don’t get in the way of them becoming one entity :nono4:

Just kill yourself so that they both live and have a future.

Sheesh. Selfish people. Don’t know squat about sarcrifice …:rolleyes:

Better yet..........just marry the mother. The child has it bad already....he's got nothin to lose.
