How stupid is this? What is the point of having non-political MPs?
Sachin is a cricketing great but he has never shown enough balls to take any stand. He was not a good captain. He cannot be verbally confrontational or argumentative when required. What value can he had to politics?

Does this system of nominating nonpolitical celebrities into the parliament exist in any other country? I’m lazy to do the research to find the rationale behind it.
