Waleed, Thanks for the article. Here are some questions:

Does the writer have stats on the bowling figures for both teams during each of the named player’s century. That is, for Sachin’s 48 centuries, what was Indian bowlers’ stats (runs per over, runs per wicket), opponent bowlers’ stats. Also, what was the batting stats for other players in each player’s team. That is, during Sachin’s 48 centuries, how did the other batsmen perform? What was their strike rate, runs scored per wicket? Ditto for opponent’s team. How did these numbers change from the matches that the centurion’s’ team won vs. those that his team lost? And how do these numbers look for each of the players named (whose winning percentage was higher).

These stats will then provide some information on how many of those losses can be attributed to the centurion (is that a correct usage?)

Also, the author has named 4 players from India and 6 from abroad. Question is, among all centurions with > say 10 centuries, where does Sachin’s percentage stand?
