What impresses me most about Tendulkar is not his batting but his personality.

For a man who receives as much adulation and makes as much money as he does, you would think it would be easy to get carried away.

Yet he projects an image of a man who is always grounded. He has rarely been involved in any controversy on or off the field.

Also, don’t forget that no other player has had to perform under as much weight of expectation as he had right since the start of his career.
