I think I am probably biggest Sachin Fan(ok…not biggest..but 2nd biggest after Asif Bhai)
Point I am raising here is about obsession of Indian media with Sachin.Other day sachin scored 80 against a team which didnt even have a single test player and the whole media is writing Poetry in praise of that ining.Rediff and timeofindia reports how impressed Australian newspaper and critics are with Sachin… For God sake that was an Inning against a 3rd grade attack.

Not Only Indian Media,even Aussies media read too much into this ( well ,May be Aussian cant ignoret him since he is the only batsmen who constantly spanked them).

Indian Media is obsessed with Sachin...coz it need to sell itself.....the people of india are ten times more obsessed with cricket than us pakistani's (To be More accurate obsessed with Indian Cricket than Pakisatni are with pakisatni cricket ) Thats why they like reading about their player's acheivemnets alot more than pakistani's.....

Sachin is a third rate batsman. It is just the useless Aussie media and the English media and the SA media and the Indian media and the Sri Lankan media and the West Idies media that keep hyping up his batting as great. All these media should be banned so that only GS media, particularly the Harischandras here can talk about Sachin. Bah humbug!

:) Fairy, Indian Media esp Times of India is JUNK and Fickle minded. One day they declare him GOD next day dismiss him as 'Choker'.
I am a Fan of Sachin's Game but that doesn't mean that I will rattofy all these junk articles.

Waisay, what I wrote could be perceived as an extension of Pakistan's recent initiatives for peace with India. Therefore, it was definitely a kaam ki baat.
^ Indian media doesn't do justice to Sachin. But I fully understand you guys and dolls not wanting to glorify Sachin. Afterall jealosy is strong emotion.
TomSawyer, nobody questions Sachin's abilities, he is top class batsman. Its the way Indian media sets up hopes from him everytime an important game shows up and if he doesn't perform he is blamed for the loss all around.
