i agree with you about inflated pakistani prices. haven’t shopped in india, but am seriously considering it after reading various guppan anecdotes about how far pakistani designers have their heads up their asses. at this rate, you’re left out of the market if you don’t have serious money to burn. india seems to be an attractive option with a bigger, more professional fashion industry and better customer service. plus none of the headache of having to find a good kaarigar to copy an over-priced nomi ansar/hsy/nilofer shahid outfit. anyone have any india shopping experiences? is there an existing thread on indian designers/experiences?
this is a sabyasachi bridal.. i got quoted $3000 for this but that was a year ago.
