Just wanted to share the experience of Sabiha’s bridal ..
Can you guys believe that almost all the makeup that she uses for her bridal services, she brings from Paksitan? … She uses none of the known long lasting brands …
One can spot a few eye shades from MAC … but I hardly saw her use any of that stuff
and … the other thing … she doesnt wash the brushes … At least I found them really pathetic looking ! .. We had three days booked with her , and there were two people prior to us getting ready on the registration day … and she used the same brushes on my cousin , that she had used on the two ladies before us …
Her makeup is pathetic as well .. nothing spectacular .. and definitely not long lasting … the blusher she put on the bride didnt stay for more then an hour !
I had a bad experience with her for my sister's wedding a few years ago. I used to visit her salon to get my eyebrows done and found her to be professional, so I suggested her to my sister for a wedding trial. After the botched job she did on my sister's make-up I refused to go back to her salon again!
We were actually really happy with the trial, but on the wedding day itself she turned up late, and the make-up itself was nothing like the trial - she even did my sister's lip liner crooked!! We were running so late and everything was so busy that we didn't even get a chance to complain, in hindsight I wish we'd refused to pay the full amount because she turned up late and we weren't happy with her work.
Fashion , she would have taken full payment from you guys no matter how much you complained ! she is such a difficult person ..
I particularly think there is this employee she has , his name is Ahmed .. my god , he has no clue what he is doing ... he spoils everything he touches and yet he is there in sabiha's salon ... so guys beware of that fellow ...
There is this girl shaila who is really good ..with most stuff that i have seen her do ... sabiha doesnt let her do the bridal ... but she is fantastic ...
I had my party hair and make-up done by sabiha this weekend and i actually thought she did a really good job. admittedly, she did not wash the brushes after using them on my friend, but overall i found that her make-up skills were very good and i liked the end result!
I have had my eyebrows and waxing done from there for about 5 years and have never had any problems so far. she charges average prices - 5 for eyebrows, 3/4 for upper lip etc.
I saw a few other brides by her as well ... and didnt find anything worth praising in her work ... i think in the end people just go to her coz they dont really have a huge choice here in the North West :(
