Saag

Saag…sarsoun ka or others…yeah…I was wondering if its available in dried form like methi…anyone knows that?

i know u can get dried kasuri methi and its an x_C_lent spice

i've never seen any other dried saags but u can always dur them urself if u want...
just wash it, put it on a cloth or paper and put it out in the air, not in harsh sunlight...keep for as many days as u want depending on how dry u want it...

hope that helps :-)

p.s. what r u planning to do with it tho? just curious :-)

irem, I have tried canned saag...but don't find it delicious as fresh one...while living outside Pakistan, its hard to get fresh saag, let alone drying and storing it...

Well, frozen bhindi is available these days and is much better than the canned version...frozen saag could be a nice idea like we can get frozen palak... :)

Zabardast, where are you at?

In the US, frozen saag is almost always available at supermarkets. It's usually labeled "mustard greens".
