Wait for Nawaz Sharif die hards to come here and still harp the same old mantra that no no our King won and fair square. He's an angel, he can do no wrong (in every bloody government the opposition accused him of widespread rigging!). Imran is lying. They'll justify this abuse of system and the law by some absolutely pathetic anecdotal experiences to suggest that NS had majority from what they gathered, therefore the law must be blocked at any cost.
Simple question: If Nawaz Sharif or Khawaj had won fairly and then why are they blocking the investigation? Why so insecure? What is the reason behind this insecurity? Perhaps they are afraid of having their crimes exposed. So much for following and respecting the law eh?
Anotehr thing: how does remaining part of the system and abusing it from within makes you a better person? Will blocking anti-rigging investigation strengthen the democracy?
Let's see if people who don't claim to be Nawaz Sharif supporters condemn this or they are still to busy listening to IK's speech! ;)

I heard there were strong news of rigging in this constituency so a recount must happen. Its fair for everyone. If Saad Rafique thinks he really won it then wuts he afraid of? Concerns about election tribunal is insane as He's in govt and thats the stand which normally opposition takes. Either way a recount should happen and if his votes come out less than his competitor then he must leave. Period.
Its a democratic process and we must follow it.
On the other hand, im sure PTI candidate requested for recount BEFORE his party announcing resignations so not sure if he'd be interested in this anymore

It doesn't matter. Those who pretend to care about the system must be interested in the outcome. What's the worst that can happen? It'll restore people's trust in the system.
Now that PTI candidate won't be contesting, it makes Khawaja looks even more pathetic to block the investigation. Clearly he knows what he did and he is sht scared of being exposed.
I think when people were referring to snakes within the party, they must've been hinting at Khawaja. He gets so defensive and nervous whenever asked to comment on his constituency. His utter and complete refusal to let anyone question his constituency sparked great tensions.

I have heard from some that when IK won from Mian Wali in 2002, with difference of 6000 votes, runner up Obaidullah Khan went to election comission for recount of votes and IK went to court and took stay order.
Can someone confirm or deny.
