Fashion Background
After a diploma in fashion designing from SNDT University in 2006, Saachi enrolled for a six-month internship with leading designer Anna Singh.

Achievements
She launched her own label, Saachi, in 2007. In the last two years, she has developed a client base from India to the Middle East through word of mouth publicity.
Why Fashion?
“As a child I was very conscious of what I would wear,” says Saachi, who has watched her mother at work in her designer store Bombay Bazaar. Saachi also designs for aunt Priya Dutt and uncle Sanjay Dutt.

Future Plans
Saachi is working on a collection of dresses which will retail in Mumbai. “The bigger plan is to revive Bombay Bazaar and have my own independent stores,” she says."
