Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

**The 2 wickets in last session slowed down aussies run rate .......... otherwise they were doing great ......

The earlier hype of "End of Australian dominance" seems to be fading away .

**

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

**after 303-4 last night .....
the last 6 aussies wckts fell cheap . adding just 49 more runs .......

South Africa chocked too ......... they are 138/7 ......... with Duminy at 73*
**

Johnson (3/37) - he has taken 11 wickets at 15.81 in the series so far - is doing what McGrath did for Australia for so long. He is still young (27) and should carry their bowling for another 4 or 5 years atleast. Although he failed here he is no mug with the bat either

Australia did collapse though from 208/1 to 352 all out!!

Even if SA save the follow-on - need 15 more (153) - they are in danger of conceding a massive first innings lead. Duminy's (73*) wicket is the key.

Australia should win from here

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

sup with this mitchel jhonson?:smack:

he seems to be hurtign players more than gettign them out :smack:

smith injured AGAIN and kallis got hurt too this time tx to mitchy! :vivo:

old windies trick :hmmm:

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

no wonder they were the world champions and batsmen used to shiver facing their bowlers :hehe:

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

**i wonder y West Indies is unable to produce tall fast bowlers now :hmmm:

back to this game …

Australia lost their last 5 wickets for 4 runs …
tht shows how difficult it is for tailenders to bat in this pitch …
**

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

things were different back then now only nations with big pockets can produce fast bowlers :hehe:

khair yeah this pitch is pretty bouncy. i remember graeme smith asking them not to make that bouncy pitches. but still they do it.

ok i soud like micheal holding now :smack: im going back to cafe :barbie:

yeh kitnee sadiyoon purani baat hai ??

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

*

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

SA all out at 138???

Now Australia 2nd inning 203/1 at :chai:

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

**n australia again hesitated to enforce follow on :hmmm:
**

Close of Play Day3

Australia lead by 506 runs with 7 wickets remaining

Don't know why SA are struggling at home considering they beat the same team in their own backyard only a few months ago

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

506 is a mammoth lead and 2 days of game is still remaining. Australia should play one more session of day 4 extending their lead to 600+ and then allow SA to play 5 sessions.

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

*wat abt Smith ...
is he still injured ?
*

Re: SA vs AUS 2nd test (Durban)

aussies declared the innings at 331

SA needs 546 runs to win. doesnt look possible:hmmm:

yes he is injured and cant bat in the second innings, so SA are compelled to chase the huge score with 10 batsmen.

Right now : 63/0
