I can't believe Poonam is out :( She and Amanat were/are my favorite of all the contestants. Today's show was really good, Amanat sang beautifully... hope he wins.
On a side note, I have to say I applaud the simplicity and generosity of Poonam's. I am at a loss for words. She has done a remarkable deed by adopting that young bachi... and may Allah reward her for all the good that she has done in her life and grant her success in all her future endeavors. Ameen.

I think last year's winner Debojit was Bengali too. They should figure out another way to decide the winner among the lop 5. Perhaps the professionals should decide instead of the public. If you are in top 5..obviously people like you.
The Pakistani boy should just walk out with dignity. Bronze medal he theek hai. Let it be a contest between baysura Raja and our 12 yr old girl Aneek.

Exactly! Amanat completely killed the other contestants in the classical music episode. His rendition of Ghulam Ali’s ghazal; breathtaking!

he himself is a C-R-A-P H-O-L-E.....lol he is such a chipka hua lizard..... well, Kareena is a jhooti,HR is a even bigger one, i mean is Kareena the no 1 actress of Bollywood???? and Aap Ka Suroor was fabulous???? my foot. both of them should be put in a basta and thrown into the Arabian Sea,tab dono ko aakal aaegi. HR,along with Aneek,is really testing my patience... Darbarji is being such a chela to HR !!!!! Poonam is reciting her sad story every now and then. Amanat is acting all cute. Raja's performance going downstream. V&S are the only sane soul there!!!!

I would not call Raja be-sura. But definitly Amanat was best yesterday and he killed them all. Raja and him are 2 good singer but I am afraid aneek will end up winning because of bengali factor.They some how vote a lot.
This is where Amanat is gonna lose. Aneek is Bengali factor.. Raja has Rajasthan angle.. I am not sure if Pakistanis are voting and if it is easy for them to SMS. To have even playing field I think you pakistani’s should start a web compaign for people to vote online. You can start with a sticky thread at this forum and general forum.

I know many Indians are voting for him and thats is the reason he is in Top 3. But he doesnt have that regional factor going on for him.

Saw SRGMP last night.
Amanat is the man. His rendition of the Ghulam Ali song was quite simply out-of-the world. And he has the flair to go with it too.
At this stage, its really meaningless to rank singers....I mean its not an apple-2-apple comparison. Each singer have their own style, voice and bring their own distinct personality to the song. Its like having a SRGMP challenge between Mohd Rafi and Kishore Kumar.
It was sad to see Poonam go...but as Himesh Reshmayiia said, it is quite unfair for her to be judged against Males.....again like judging Lata against Kishore....
All in all, if I had to absolutely choose one among the four, I would choose Amanat ---- I hope my fellow Indians could get over their parochial patriotism and vote for AMANAT.

His performance has been going down the drain for quite a few weeks now (last week being the exception). Aneek and Raja couldn't have done half of what Amanat did yesterday.

I wish Raja would start singing sufi type songs again. It was such a pleasure listening to him when he did. I hope the stress isn't getting to him and that's why his confidence level has come down. His singing was so incredible before.

i found this amanat ali guy is really good with high notes. whereas his sudden transition towards low notes is also superb.
dat gal was kool too, but her voice wasnt overcoming the music. but really enjoyed her two.

just so he stays in but i like raja and aneek too so actually i’ll be happy if any of them win.:hinna: It so hard to choose who’s better when they are all singing at their best.

I really think that Amanat deserves to win this competition...aneek is good as well but i thought the dil se song which he sang wasnt as good as the original and raja is not a good singer at all - the songs which he sang today felt dabay dabay as if he had a sore throat, the judges were biased while praising Amanat and went over the top for no reason while praising the other two even when their songs were very easy...especially Raja who sucked big time..so Aneek and Amanat for me for now..

Amanat is beyond this competition [like Jagjeet Singh said]**. **My prediction for next week and finals: Raja will go home next week and Aneek will win the competition.
