I do not like such senseless competitions as there is no creativity, but this one is interesting because we have singers from many different countries.
Here is my first thought about singers in general and

I liked 3 of the 4 Pakistani singers and the singer from Dubai. It was disappointing to not see any female singer from Pakistan. Atleast one should have been there.
Since I was cooking on Friday, I could not listen to the Indian singers very well. The once I watched were so so.
One female singer from US performed well on stage, but I think her singing was just so so. We will know how good she really is in the up coming episodes.
SGMP actually has some really good voices and has generated talents like Kunal, Shreya, etc. This one we do watch. Don't care for Indian Idol at all. This year should be interesting because of the singers from difft parts of the world.
Why isn't Shaan hosting the show? :( Why did they have to bring in Udit's son to do it? He is acting a bit like Shaan though with his mannerisms.
Missed Sat's epi. The Friday one had some potentially good singers - more girls vs. guys from India.
I don’t get zeetv but last year there was so much drama(himesh reshamiya) going on in that show that I actually canceled the channel because of it. Hopefully this year there’s less drama and more good singing
Hubbs was telling me that ARY is going to show it as well on Fridays or Saturdays. Not sure. You might want to check out ARY on friday night since you know how their Guide is usually screwed up.
only the pakistani singers and that dubai one are good and the girl from us..mauli dave..rest all suck...the girl in the indian episode who sang dholi taro..me and my mom were laughing so hard..it was like a guy singing in a girl's voice..why didn they even select her haha..i m waiting for gajendra singh's show to begin. aditya narayan is just trying to be a hero with all the dancing and all and he cant sing.
When it comes to "raw" singing talent, unfortunately, Pakistan is nowhere close to India where singing is a household commodity since it’s part of their routine worship and family events.
^ yeah Junaid seems a better prospect than Mussarat who Himesh himself said he doesn't have confidence in other than singing songs within a specific genre.

and i personally think that the nose singer is realllly arrogant. "mujhe tere ghaar me roti chahi ee,struggle nahi!!!!!!!" "mene vineet ko kaam diya tha,tujhe bhi dungga!!!"
and many other quoteable lines he said yesternite.
i really liked when Ashaji imitiated the langur singing "Jhalak dikh laa ja" through her nose !!!
there has always been a cold war between her and that nose drop,and Ashaji is not leaving any chance to give tana to him !!
LOL Pallavpotter - I cannot stand Himesh!! He was going on and on about how he's going to give work to Mussarat and somehow he was implying that Mussarat is 'dirt poor' or something. IT was so Aggravating!! We have to tolerate this joker for the entire callenge - UFF! I hope his Gharana gets out soon so we can be spared the ego trips he has on every episode - puke

there's not one singer except Amaanat Ali in the show that can be called outstanding..but a really funny joke that Himesh made was when he said that the producers have to check their pockets before getting Rahet Fateh ALi Khan because he lives in Pakistan and I will give them a singer who will be from right here..and I was like koii ise batao even Mussarat is from Pakistan haha
