So wifey and I have been trying hangout. but we have not been able to make one successful hangout call on s3s. Sometimes it stops responding, sometimes it becomes a voice only call but NEVER a video call..
anyone faced same issue?

Maybe your network connection isn’t too great. I haven’t tried Hangout on my S3 either. Don’t have anyone to hangout with

OK I just hungout with myself on my Air and my S3. It was pretty smooth and pretty darn cool !
Did you start your hangout from a laptop/computer first?

You guys have all your G+ setting right? It was so smooth for me. OK that really didn’t help now, did it.

I concur with Niksik. I've tried hangout and it was pretty flawless for me too. But i've heard that some people have issues. It might be one of your phones, not necessarily both.
