Re: S & P
Our perception of things is affected by our previous ideas and views about it. Like in an experiment conducted, a person was shown a clip of a white man carrying a blade midst of a crowd and a game of "telephone" was played wherein the information was passed on in a chain of people without viewing the clip again. The last person came up with a totally different scenario where he said a black man was carrying a knife. The misconception of african american people being more violent had affected the perception. Our biases and misconceptions play a huge role in our perception.
How can one control sensation? Perception can be molded by getting rid of yer biases, but sensation?
