There is one key factor. Mig-35, as defined, is a paper plane. J-10 is real. I do hope the IAF goes for Mig-35 as their next fighter. That would mean that they will not be ordered before 2015 and deliveries won't begin before 2030. Meanwhile PAF will be well ahead with J-10 and hopefully J-XX.
