Russia sells military transport choppers to Pakistan: Report Moscow, June 25 : Russia is selling a dozen Mi-171 military transport helicopters to Pakistan, the first Russian defence sale to Islamabad in six years, the Vedemosti Moscow business daily reported today. Four helicopters, made at a plant in the Siberian republic of Buryatia, were delivered on June 14 and another four will be received by Pakistan by the end of the month, an industry source told the newspaper. The total contract, worth $50 million, is for 12 helicopters, the source added. The latest contract generated disagreement in Russia, with Russia’s industry and science minister Ilya Klebanov opposing it on the grounds that it would jeopardize Moscow’s weapons sales to India, according to the paper’s sources. President Vladimir Putin personally gave his personal seal of approval to the Pakistani deal, Vedemosti said. (AFP) (Posted @ 23:55 PDT)

chill bro, I dont support musharaff either, he just thinks about himself. He doesn't care about the economy, people are starving to death and yet here he is doing this.

The most thing I hate about him is that he teamed up with USA just to kill more muslims yet in Quran, it clearly says If a muslim teams up with a kuffar just to hurt another muslims, he is not a muslim. It also says that if one muslim is hurt, every muslim should feel the same pain.

Atleast some educated people can realize that musharraf is corrupting the country.

Well, musharraf is someone I dont support nor I ever will.

I agree with you on Musharraf somewhat. Musharaff was under intense pressure over Afghanistan, however. And I don't have problems with Musharaff placing Pakistan's interests over Afghanistan. I am saddened over the innocent Afghans that were killed but frankly they should have let go of that psychopath.

I have no clue what you are trying to say in the entire post but I do have to comment on the above part. Look man it's pretty simple, you live in a land; you break the law of the land and as a consequence you get punished in accordance with the laws of the land.

I for one would not mind seeing all these illegal Pakistanis being deported because the majority of them are good for nothing welfare dependent illiterate morons. They are doing nothing except bringing bad name to Pakistan. So, if what it takes to stop them is jailing them then so be it.

As I said earlier I don't know what you're talking about but I get the impression that somehow Musharraff negotiated the release of these folks with Bush. If that is what he did, he did not save their asses. He should have let them rot in jail cells.

Ok, anyways we got on with the topic, what's going on here is that he is corrupting the country. He doesn't care about the economy, he thinks testing couple of missiles would make people like him.

He does almost everything america says, WHY? You'll know once you see his bank accounts.

Currently what I am hearing that conditions in Pakistan aint good, there is tax on everything and poor people cant afford it. Now cause of musharraf, a poor guy has to go even in to some more worse situation by paying all that tax and **** . Although I am just being "told" this so I am not sure whether this information is right or not.

In other words, I'd call him Islams enemy. I mean what kind of a human being is he? He claims to be muslim and usually says "thanks to allah(SWT)" in public speeches yet he cant follow some BASIC rules of Islam. How could he help the rascal with his phony war on terror? So many innocent muslims died cause of this guy.

Now as you can see at the border what's going on, 2 muslims fighting each other(Pakistani soldiers and Al-qaeda/Taliban) and it's cause all of who? I think its pretty obvious.

Its good to know that some educated people can see his real moves.

Perhaps its time for someone to remind him the real meaning of the word president. According to Islam, it means that not even a single dog should be hungary in the area you are controlling. And here this guy is just killing the public even more and making things even worse.

What nuclear power nation would allow AMERICAN TROOPS in its country and let them do whatever the hell they want. FBI/CIA/American troops are all over the place, but it's never too late. He can make things better currently but he refuses too cause then his bank accounts wont increase.

Why not if Indians can go to US for arms why can't Russia sell it to Pak. Remember there are no permeenent friends but interests.. France selling subs to both India and Pak Brits doing the same....

They are not doing whatever they want. They are ALWAYS accompanied by Pak troops, usually SSG, and can only do what Pak govt agrees on.
