Running naked is the only way to run. Been doing it all my life. Finally, the West is catching on. Jason Gay of WSJ (MAY 29) describes this scandalous act as running without tech gadgets - smartphone (why would anyone need that?) fitness wristband (what crock) heart rate monitor (what happened to listening to your body’s feedback signals), virtual coach app (no clue what this beast is) headphones (this is just silly).

Even tech enthusiasts r joining the bwagon. Running w/o tech gadgets was recommended for those coming off injuries. Lynn Jennings Olympic distance runner makes her camp leave their gadgets behind during track workout. She wants the runners to get a feel for the pace. "The essence of running is to communicate with your body. You don't see a coyote or a fox checking their GPS while chasing their prey".
You also r susceptible to injuries when u rely on tech. Say u r listening to music. You pay less attention to ur body signals. Or ur stopwatch tells u you r going below ur target pace. So u push urself. And break down. It is equivalent to u waiting till someone dropped "a piano on ur back" whereas by listening to ur body u avoid getting to this stage.
So let us make June Running Naked Month.

Does that include running barefoot ? 
Maybe on the beach if you are lucky enough (read rich enough) to be able to do that.

Barefoot running is the best. Growing up didn’t wear running shoes. Cause there was no such thing. Even now I take the shoes off once in a while at the track. Beach of course
