So let’s say you’re invited to a party and you know your ex is going to be there. Do you:

1. Decline the invitation and therefore avoid sharing the same air as your ex, or

2. Be mature and go up to your ex at the party and exchange pleasantries, or

3. Spend the entire night at the party avoiding the ex - I.e. Walking the other way when you see him/her coming towards you or just ignoring them and pretending like they don’t exist.

Almost all of the parties I’ve been to recently are segregated, so it wouldn’t make any difference whether an ex was there or not.
