increase 5 or 10 minutes every week. you shouldn't be embarrassed if you really wanna lose your weight.

Re: running for beginners

Get a partner and 4get anyone else...i usually go gym...but recently me and hubby have been going for runs in the local park and its been great...we both motivate each other and its nice to get fresh air...i def sweat more and ache more than i go gym...i've set myself like a target to run around the lake 3 times...and we usually jog...then sprint for like 2 mins...then jog..and sometimes walk in between when we get too tired..

keep it up!

But im going to keep doing it until I get over it!

Re: running for beginners

come on inspiron, no one see when i run.
start with small track and then add more miles when you feel comfortable.

Re: running for beginners

I used to be conscious too when I started running, specially living in a very desi area, there were many stares. But then I started wearing a sports cap and large sunglasses. It would completely hide my face and hair. It may sound bit weird, but it worked for me. I don't feel so conscious anymore and don't need them, but in the beginning they really helped.
