Nothing wrong with a pre-nup. What’s so unbelievable about that? I find it so funny that guys find it so abhorrent, but pre-nups are esp necessary since most countries do not guarantee the Islamic rights of property/finances etc to a woman. In my state in the US, you get divorced and everything (and I mean everything) gets split in half - so whoever is the one with the lower invome or no income escapes with everything.
That doesn’t work out so well when you’ve got a girl from a well-off family and/or well paying job - she gets jipped. I don’t think a pre-nup is unreasonable. in fact, men who are anti-prenups are probably sleeze buckets anyway - they’d be the first ones to run off with a woman’s loot the minute they got a chance. And if you think that’s exaggeration, its already happened here to a number of families.
