Good read! If youre planning on going there, all the top attractions need security clearance, including seeing tarbela upclose and PAF Kamra.
Have been to all those places mentionned although Terbela is not really in Attock. the writer could have mentionned the Randki ka muqbara - a tombstone dedicated to a whore on the GT Road in attock, the panja sahib sikh temple especially since these were in the same region.
he missed out the glories of the southern portion of attock district but made a skirting mention to the kalla chitta hills a wildlife haven but now large sections are under army control. There are large forests of wild olive and acacia there supporting home for wild sheep, gazelle, wolves, leopards and plenty of smaller and just as majestic wildlife. on top of that there is a tanaza dam not far from that area. The Pindhi gheb and Fatehjang side of attock is enchanting. i had a chance for a day out there but did nt go - next time insha allah!
