Monk, first of all, I liked Jimmy Kimble better. He was much nicer
Second, getting to a state of indifference and therefore not caring, takes time. And you guys shouldn’t assume the girl thinking about the bumping into the guy means she’s running after him or still cares about the guy (or vice versa - since the original question was presented in a gender neutral manner). It may be that the girl or guy is trying to avoid an ex who still moons over them and is looking to avoid an awkward situation. Sure they may care, but they care about not being made to feel uncomfortable.
