In India during the times when the partition was going on, Muslim women of entire villages killed themselves to preserve their honour... <<<
*I think Lajjo is advocating Honor Killings. Excellent. *
Even during the times of Jahiliyya when the people were practicing a barbaric and animalistic culture, part of their culture was that they buried their daughters, and there was a reason they did that...<<<
Lajo, the reason was that they didn’t want their women to drive. They still do that in some parts of the Arab world, now they bury them in black rob that makes them look like bhootnies.

what an stupid reply...to say the least........plz read ,re-read ,re-read untill u fully understand what he means.....
As a human being, I see no problem for them in having a rundi mela but as a Muslim I do strongly condem any kind of recognition of such kind of gathering.
This is not the way we should project our country or seek any sympathy from west.
If they need it they can have it but without any kind of projection.
The amount of people whi actually think there is an ACTUAL rundi mela is pretty staggering. I guess this the result of never stepping out of Cafe.
Let me spell it out for those still in confusion: There is NO Rundi Mela. These characters are FICTITIOUS. Fictitious means 'made up'. Is that any clearer?

very intelligent of u to mock my words :) im impressed
May Allah reward you fro you Lajawab. I really appreciate your work and admire it. May Allah show others the right path also.
I am amazed how many people participated in this post just to defend the evils of society and deny that there is any such thing as rundi mela. Its the concept behind rundi mela which many fail to understand. What a pity! I hope they show the same fervor for something positive also. Defending anything unIslamic and ethical is their hobby.

I am sorry i did not mock your words.. if u felt that way, I am really sorry, I was asking a question to revage ... but what I said is exactly according to and in the lines of Islamic teachings.. not a personal-only-view.. u may disagree freely :-)
I don't like debates or arguments, especially where people are unwilling to open up their minds. Yet, I must confess it's a very interesting thred. Well, to be exact, the original post by Lajwab is interesting, the rest is not to my taste.Well, at any rate, I did figure out the idea behind it (maybe I am a little less dumber than usual). Though, I must confess at first I was taken aback.
Nothing to do with religion, but I really hate basant.
The thread was started as a satire on a serious subject. Whats disturbing is that so many people were not able to figure it out. It either means that the first post was written too well, or that there are more idiots in this world than we give credit for. The second possibility seems more plausible. Its disturbing really. It almost seems as if our collective IQ is getting lower, with every passing day.

satire aside, i think its an indication of degrading morals when a news article is posted about a serious subject, like Randi Mela, and all the discussion revolves around personalities like Lajawab and his beard.
Lets not shoot the messenger. Lets discuss issues people.
This Randi Mela thing for instance.. anyone got links yet?
