Imdad
Oh don't worry my son, Venezuala are soon on the list.
Just for the record in 2002 a coup removes Hugo Chavez, the democratically elected president of Venezuala. Although he regains his position after 24 hours, the USA publicly welcomes his overthrow.
The USA newspaper, The New York Times, reports that senior USA administration officials had met the business and military leaders behind the coup several times and had expressed an interest in Chavez being removed. Chavez had offended the USA by establishing good relations with Iraq and Cuba and by expressing sympathy with dissidents in Colombia who are being targeted by a USA backed military offensive.

Ouch. Good one Imdad. Talk about burning the chaddis off. ![]()

rite now CBC is showing a documentary on chavez and venezuela and what role US had played in overthrowing chavez last year. it is clearly shown in the documentary that how and why USA decided to overthrow chavez and bring their puppets in power. one MAIN and only reason was this that chavez was planning to make oil-industry a state-run and owned industry than a private one, which was against the constitution. CIA head clearly mentioned in one of the briefing that venezuela being the third largest producer of petroleum, its policies are not in the best interest of USA and therefore something must be done to bring chavez down. :-)
if you want to read more, do a search and you'll find tons of material linking USA to the problems that arose in venezuela last year
:-)
Just want to remind you guys that Donald Rumsfield is not the US. Niether is Bush or Powell.

They sure seem to be representing the whole of the U.S. and no-one seems to be stopping them.
Are they not the elected representatives of the nation looking out for USA's best interests?
This is what they say day in and day out at the White House briefings.
