PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Thursday witnessed a rumpus and exchange of harsh words among the treasury and opposition benches when Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) members protested against the opposition leader’s remarks.
The house echoed with “Go Nawaz Go!” and “Ro Imran Ro!” (cry Imran cry) chants when female members of the ruling party protested against Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Lutfur Rehman’s remarks that PTI stages a “daily female dance show in it’s Islamabad sit-in.”
Minister for Public Works, Shah Farman and MPA Fazal Elahi of PTI tried to reach the opposition benches and engaged in a physical scuffle with opposition members. The Assembly’s security staff, however, stopped them and tried to vacate the assembly hall of those involved in the incident.
The entire house then echoed with slurs as it became difficult for the security staff to control the enraged Minister for Public Health, Shah Farman and advisor to CM, Fazale Elahi.
Farman, later told reporters outside the assembly hall that the opposition leader used derogatory remarks against PTI’s female workers who he said were protesting against the poll rigging.
He said that Maulana Lutfur Rehman spoke in the same tone in which JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman addresses public meetings.
“He should know the difference between assembly floor and public meeting,” Shah Farman said, adding that the opposition leader’s remarks were against Islamic and Pukhtun culture.

Yes I know he is an idiot person but he used his words to show his idiocy. In KP assembly, they not only use foul and idiotic language but also used their hands for free fight. They are bunch of morons and more idiots than Siraj Duraani. Had this happened in Sindh or Punjab Assembly, these ptians would have yet opened another sh!ty thread with all kinds of hulla gulla. That is the message I wanted to convey in my first post.
They are definitely not interested in Pervez dancing otherwise they might have ignored ladies and focused on him but he is probably too old for their taste :D
I think he was referring to IK’s , tsunami, revolution and Naya Pakistan. Naya KPK to bananay se raha, pata nahin naya Pakistan kaisay banega. Did he wipe out corruption in 90 days of ruling KPK? I hope not.
In Sindh assembly they have badmouthed and degraded PTI female protesters in similar Mullah fashion. Obviously no one cared enough to protest. But I guess it is a totally different ball game you demean women in Pakhtoon assembly. These Mullahs are really pushing the wrong buttons by passing lewd and derogatory remarks about women. I wonder why aren't ever remotely outraged and distraught when young teenage girls are gang raped in the country in broad day light?
But I think generally speaking, it is good for the country that Mullah Fazlu is saying all these nasty things, let people just see and decide for themselves. I'm surprised that it is JI who has shown surprisingly dignified silence and complete lack of interest to pass any bigoted, spiteful comments on political gathering of women (as far as I am concerned). The so called liberal parties like PPP, MQM and JUI-F should learn something from JI, perhaps. So far they all seem to belong to Mullah Fazlu's camp, and I doubt they even care, but the public is watching.

Of course this had everything to do with the video, a sick minded Mullah, brother of Fazlu, got up and took a characteristically lewd dig at female participants of rallies and indirectly referred PTI members as pimps. I'm sorry if you find such remarks entertaining, and reflection of your own thoughts and mentality, but you are really pushing the wrong buttons in a Pakhtun gathering by passing such remarks. PTI members were already enraged as it is because of Mullah Fazlu's jahil mujra comment from few days ago.
I don't accept you to ever condemn this filthy misogynistic hate, but really these people are constantly attacking each other and thrashing each in assembly over all sorts of reasons, but there is absolutely no reason to drag female protesters in such degrading manner. They are Pakistanis citizens, free citizens, they are neither PTI or these sick Mullah's property, and they are free to do whatever they want. So perhaps the latter party and their allies needs to stop policing, fatwafying their swinging hands, chastising them for coming out of their houses after 6:00pm. The unmanly, cowardly tactic of picking on women to take revenge will not work.
