I love it :D But I find it odd that women specifically on GS go tooth and nail after another guppan because of some posts.

Its like GS is more important than real life to them and their e-reputations actually matter.

i just joined a few weeks back when did all this drama happen. don't know whether a woman would enjoy that "infamy" like you if she had to go through it.

believe me GS is actually a nice environment, other places have nutcase people taking screenshots of PMs and scraps by members of those social networking places and those screenshots are spread all across. some of those people have been so f-ed in the head from being online most of their lives that they have no signs in them that they are still human and would go to any lengths to hurt somebody’s nonvirtual life too with whom they have a personal grudge with online.

^that's seriously hard to believe or maybe i'm too naive in all this since i'm still new. but nobody really knows anybody personally here and nobody has their personal details out there like on those social networking sites so how does something similar happen.

i can't believe women could hurt other women here though, it just doesn't look like that kind of place. atleast not in life1. i've seen it a lot in the wedding section in terms anything indian.

Always use an ounce of caution in every interaction since there's no point in setting yourself up to be taken advantage of - you don't know what is in someone else's heart and what their intentions are so might as well be careful.

I don't like the ideas that your IM chats can be copy pasted and used in other threads as references for new posts and such. I saw a thread like that before.

Its funny, but I was reading on msn that your chat history feature which was easily deletable will NOT have that option anymore. WTF are they doing, the FB team?

Sehrysh yep you're right, don't know why i thought GS was different. I have no clue how to combat b*tchiness though, i've had mostly only guy friends my whole nonvirtual life, i find it easier to talk with guys, i escape from cattiness, backbiting of any kind.

Why would anyone who has a job or is even halfway happy with their life care about such things?

GS rumors are GS rumors...and thats it. I was shocked when I first heard one but now it doesnt surprise me...we're desi and this is what we do.

Be happy knowing what goes around comes around...let them say what they want...because the people they gossip TO are saying the same things about each other behind their backs.

Second, people thrive on gossip. Anywhere you see a collection of people, there will be gossip. Sadly, I think many people on GS have been victims to that.
