I was talking to my friend in Karachi when i saw the thread title, i asked him about the news and his reaction was, "holy crap, i am one hour away from my home and my family is also shopping, oh Allah, i need to rush home before violence hits the street.." and then he disconnected his phone...

with the kind of reaction ahl-e-Karachi suffered after BBs death, everyone is more worried about their own security more than any thing and they are scared that if a nut job kills zardari or if zardari dies of natural causes, they still have to suffer from a blood-bath... i won't call him gullible, after what Karachi has been through in last 5 years

I understand your point, but BB was a legendary, and very popular leader of the people. She was genuinely loved by millions.
Zardari is not even popular in his own party.

When you love someone, it makes you love everyone / everything around you especially the things belonged to the person you love. It is therefore when you love God, you surely love all its creations.
Now coming to the love that political workers (be it PPP, MQM or any other party) have for their party leaders. Its hard to understand that strange kind of love, that if anything bad happened to their leaders they start killing people for whom those leaders reportedly promised to scarify their lives.
Its been ritual to kill dozens of innocent people, when one good for nothing political leader dies / murdered.

it would be best thing happening to PPP. chota bhutto just got in to the politics, looming elections etc etc... if big z dies then ppp will immediately call for elections and history will repeat itself.

I thought there were rules on this forum not to wish death for some one but I think Only Zardari is exception here.

I agree with Sachay. Lets not wish death upon anyone. Infact because it was a rumor, I think its better for the mods to lock this thread.

I for one would not want to see Zardari die while holding the office of the president. Can u imagine him being buried with 21 gun salute and his coffin rapped up in green cresent flag? That would be terrible and another black stain on Pakistan's history.

What a disrespectful thread! esp. now that it is clear that Zardari is ok. I do not support him because of his corruption (but then 80% of Pak society is corrupt and dishonest ... sad but true) & misgovernance but he is the elected president and he must be allowed to return and serve out his remaining tenure (21 months to be precise)
