of course general reason of rumours in a developing country is lack of awareness but I personally have seen that one of my neighbor in a lower middle class locality hid her children from the vaccination team and there was some strong exchange of words between them. Later that lady explained me that how this vaccination is the ploy of America to infertile our nation and how west is afraid of increase in muslim population. Discussion with some other neighbours hav given me an idea that they r also apprehensive of the fact that vaccine given to the children is "fake" like other medicines in Pakistan. Some r of view that vaccine is usually expired and going from street to street the vaccination team don`t care for the temperature they shuld maintain for the vaccine. Some were saying the team dont hav any data or anything that how many times vaccine shuld be given to the children and sometimes they come every two month to give the vaccine and when parents told them that the children already got drops the team told them that these drops can be given as many times so these parents also were perplexed.

Good points raised especially lack of awareness and concerned about storage at proper temperatures. This was hilighted few months back that vaccine stock in many areas lost effectiveness due to loadshedding
