Rumi ki mohabbat aisee aaee - Urdu, Punjabi tay Angrezi wich

In Punjabi:

mohabbat is tarhan aayee
k meray khoon bun gayee
merian narian which nasan lagi
meray dil de chakkar lagaan lagi

jidhar vi main dekhya
sif eh hi nazar aaya
meri sohnee da na likhya hoya
meray jism thee har thaan tay -

meri khabbi talli tay
meray mathhay tay
meri gurdan pichhay
meary sajjay paer de unghoothay tay

*o meraya dosta,
jo tun mainu dekhna hai
eh taan ik bahri chilka hi hai
hor sub kuch taan *
meri mehbooba da hi hai

-tr. Ravi Kopra

In Urdu:

mohabbat aisee aaee
k mera khoon bun gaee
meri naarieon main bhagnay laggee
meray dil kay chakkar lagaanay lagee.

jahaan bhi dekha
sirif yehi dekha -

*har juz pe likha hua *
meri mehobooba ka naam

meray baayen haath pe,
meray maathay pe,
meyree gardun k peechhay
meyray daayen paaon k angoothay pe.

meray dost, jo tum mujhay dekhto ho
yeh ek bahar ka chhilka hi hai
aur baakee jo kuch bhi hoon

apni mehbooba ka hi hoon

Translated from the following:

Love came,
and became like blood in my body.
It rushed through my veins and
encircled my heart.

Everywhere I looked,
I saw one thing.
The Beloved’s name written
on my limbs.

on my left palm,
on my forehead,
on the back of my neck,
on my right big toe…

Oh, my friend,
all that you see of me
is just a shell,
and the rest belongs to the Beloved.

A true Lover doesn't follow any one religion,
be sure of that.
Since in the religion of Love,
there is no irreverence or faith.
When in Love,
body, mind, heart and soul don't even exist.
Become this,

    fall in Love,
and you will not be separated again.
