Reading the Holy Qur’an with tajweed helps make our recitation not only beautiful but also more accurate. I have had the opportunity to learn tajweed from an expert.
I would love to share what I know as well as hear from others.
The bismillah is ready softly because the alif laam is preceeded by a kasra (zeyr). The Rasoolullah is read heavy because the alif laam is preceeded by a dammah (pesh) and would be the same if were a fatha (zabar).
OK. There are 2 different types of meems used in the Qur'an that aren't regular meems. One is usually seen with a tail and one without.
The one without the tail denotes a compulsary stop mark.
The other one suggests the rule of Iqlaab, which is that when the tanween noon saakin is followed by ba, the noon changes to a meem sound.
Now the meem at the end of Surah Ikhlas has a long meem, but the rules of Iqlab don't seem to apply here as the next surah also doesn't start with a ba.

Psyah bhai, I need your help here!
Peace sister Niksik
Full marks on the tajweed rules ... the reason why the tail meem on the end of Surah Ikhlas is there is because when a reciter should continue the recitation without stopping he or she will continue on to the next Surah, but because each Surah is separated by the basmillah the next letter is undoubtedly a ba ... that is why!
The rule here is Izhar. Izhar means to express. When a noon saakin or tanween comes before a huroof e halaqi, you express the noon sound.
Is that the rule you were expecting me to point out? I know there are others in this ayah as well.
Brother Psyah, you seem to be an expert here. Can you please reveal your experience to us please?
