Rule Book

There needs to be a rulebook or something…where all the rules n policies are collated in one place…and properly numbered and referenced…that would make it easier for everyone i think…

if specific rule coulc be cited in case of any ‘official communication’ regarding rules…that would be good.

Re: Rule Book

Do you know how long it took us Pakistanis for making the national constitution ?

Re: Rule Book

and the point is?? :konfused:

Re: Rule Book

c’mon you are much wiser then that

I meant Pavista reh sajhar se ummmed-e-bahar rakh

well on a serious note - They have something like ’ GS bible ’ - dont know whether it is complied or not .. let them answer it …

May be they dont see a need of something formal in writing ! who knows

Re: Rule Book

well.....they do have some sort of 'rules' n 'policies' which members are expected to follow and they are supposed to 'enforce'......but i think they are scattered allover the place....its not too much difficult to compile all that in one place (as it appears to me)...

Re: Rule Book

Every forum has rules posted on the top in a sticky thread. Please check the specific forums for their respective posting rules.

Re: Rule Book

and my suggestion of compiling them in one place is wrong?? or unworkable?? or against some policy??

Re: Rule Book

Did I say that?

Re: Rule Book

Every forum has sticky with those rules in writing like Lusi has said. Some rules that are not written are common sense and hence should be self-explanatory. I.e. rules like ''not insulting others'' or ''not inciting arguments'' or ''not spamming'' or ''not being racist'' etc etc, those rules are not in writing but are more in common sense and hence its assumed that everyone will follow those normal decency guidelines as to how to behave.

As for the rulebook again what Lusi said.

Hope this helps. :)

Re: Rule Book

So...what about rulebook?

NO rulebook??

Re: Rule Book

yah well compiling all those rules into one is a bit overwhelming when someone has to read them. each forum has its rules and they're stickied in that forum.

then comes the overall rules that generally apply to GS or any internet forum...i.e. not flooding forums, or starting phaddas yada yada...but that's like...common sense?

Re: Rule Book

HEY SHAKEEL THE WAKEEL...WE SAY SAME SAME THING.

IM SO SMART.

Re: Rule Book

i never said remove the sticky from specific forums.....

Re: Rule Book

Re: Rule Book

correct me if i am wrong…but thats FAQ on how to use the forum/BulletinBoard…are you saying that its the rulebook?? with ‘policies’??

Re: Rule Book

This video should be helpful.

Re: Rule Book

Nomi... I am sure they can all be compiled in one document. I am not sure if azkar wants that at this time.

As a mod, I find easy to look up the rules for that forum in the forum I am moderating or update that one thread as needed. It is easy for me to cite them for members when needed.

Re: Rule Book

nevermind.......... this thread met the fate of every other feedback/suggestion thread......i guess there is absolutely no room for improvement

Lock or it delete it or whatever..
