Wrong, Fraudz. I'm here. Just not very vocal due to the bad patch the Springboks are going through - very much as the Pakistani cricket supporters when things are not going well. :)

rough patch? they just beat up on Uraguay big time..I dont think there is a bad patch. I already have them advancing unless Samoa does something spectacular.

We have a tremendous lot of problems in our rugby. Uruguay does not count for anything. We will beat Samoa easily. Our big game will be England and I am not too optimistic.

You have to have an appalling taste to like rugby. With all the modern rulings, this game is played at slower pace w/o much excitement and fast runs.

Rugby League is miles ahead.

I'd watch a club game of Rugby League over Rugby Union's International anyday.

i reckon rugby SUC bigtime.........lots of fans are switching to other sport now.........not more than 2 or 3 countries take this game seriously anyway..........so who cares!

Just shows your ignorance.

It is a growing sport presently being played in 96 countries. Just in the World Cup there is 20 countries SERIOUSLY competing (so much for your 2 to 3) and these countries had to play in playoffs beforehand to determine who will be admitted to the World Cup - similarly to soccer.

Old man wee you guys did not have much luck on your side when playing against England. Samoa seems to be hell bent on making a point this year..

lets see what happens.

pagluu I believe it is seriously played in more countries than cricket is :)
it may not get much airtime in Pakistan, Middle east or North America, but it is a huge sport in many other countries as Old Man has pointed out already.

Matches (deciders) to watch out for poll placings:
pool A: 26.10 ARG - IRE; 1.11 AUS - IRE
pool B: 25.10 FRA - SCO; 1.11 SCO - FIJ
pool C: 26.10 ENG - SAM; 1.11 RSA - SAM
pool D: 25.10 ITA - WAL; 2.11 NZL - WAL

Assuming Fra - beats Sco the Sco - Fij game should be a cracker. Also Ita - Wal as I’m assuming Nzl will walk all over Wal.

Samoa certainly played very well against England. I still believe we can beat them. Watch out for a humdinger between the Springboks and the All Blacks in the quarter-final.

Okay - so today’s games were a bit close for comfort.

Yes, we English beat Samoa - but we really should have beaten a team like that somewhat more safely. However, the team that need to be worried on today’s result are the Irish.

Australia had a safe win against Argentina. I don’t call Ireland’s 16-15 a safe win in the slightest  - we could see Australia topping that group quite easily - I don’t know what’s happened to the Irish, but it seems that their main driving force is getting a huge mad Irish crowd behind them - and they just can’t get that all the way over is Oz.

i have to say Australia really are now the side to beat - i can actually see them beating England if it came down to it in a head to head game.

There are four sides to watch: England, Nieu-Zeeland, Australia, and France. The semi-finals will be very interesting because it will be a playoff between the souths sides and north sides to see which will represent South against North in the final.

Old Man, can you explain South Africa's poor performance? I'm not really into rugga, but at times like these I become patriotic.

Hey, what's this about England fielding 16 men in the game against Samoa? Can someone please provide details.
Cheers.

England even won the game with just the 15 men on the field! England - cheats - never :p

Awam ki Awaz - apparantly at one time Engalnd had a man over - hence the comments above. They soon sorted it out but are now set to face charges for misconduct - i mean this just adds to the factit was a poor performance and now its claimed they had an unfair advantage.

after 15 years - The U.S. has finally a won game in the Rugby World Cup :D
