Just seeing an instance , i wondered what is behind a rude behaviour , is it some kind of insecurity ?
Re: Rude Behaviour
depends on the situation.

tell the story plz
Re: Rude Behaviour
depends on the situation.
yep.
Re: Rude Behaviour
if its just a one-off then there cud be some insecurity but u gta know the full story to make a judgement like that
Re: Rude Behaviour
There can not be any justification for rude behaviour. But if someone behaves rudely with us than we must be polite with them and try to find out the real cause which forced him to behave with us in that manner. May be there is a misunderstanding or he might be going through some harsh"tests of life" at the same time.
Once my dad, working at the highest post in airforce, called a worker to give him some work. The worker replied in anger on the phone some what like this " MAin kya karroon, ya to mar jaoon ya phir nokri chor doon"
Dad felt very angry and felt like going to that place where the worker was sitting and punch him very hard, because dad called him directly and politely instead of using the chain of command. But, there were so many files on the table to look at that he forgot this incident and got busy in work.
After sometime an old man asked permission from him to enter the office. He was crying and asking for forgiveness. Dad asked "What happened?" He said that he was the same person who behaved rudely with him on the phone.
Then he said that last night his wife woke up at mid night and was feeling intense pain as she was in the final stages of pregnancy but he did not have any means of transport and it was very difficult to find a taxi, he tried to call the hospitals but didnt get any help and he and his wife spent the night on the road, as the doctors also didnt give much importance may be because he was not a rich man. Also while he and his wife spent the night on the road, his small child was alone at home and was ill.
Dad consoled him and tried to help him as much as he could. He still says that had I not listened to his situation and taken an emotional step earlier in response to his rude behaviour, I might have never be able to forgive myself in my whole life.
Re: Rude Behaviour
stress and fatigues leads to rude bahavior...but lack of moral education surely is the key to most rude behavior we witness everyday
Re: Rude Behaviour
without any specific reason u cant be rude this could be cuz of some insecurity ,stress and lack of education i guess........
Re: Rude Behaviour
what about if you detest a particular person
Re: Rude Behaviour
its hard to say....mostly id say yes, but it coudl be a bad day one time thing, what is the whole story?? then we can see....
Re: Rude Behaviour
Personally I can tolerate most things but rude behaviour/rudness is something i cant stand! I suppose it depends on what the story is.
Re: Rude Behaviour
Sadly, there are certain cases where its necessary to be rude. When someone is taking advantage of you or refusing to understand a situation even when politely and completely explained, it may turn out that the only answer is to speak very plainly and even possibly rudely.
I had a couple of these experiences. Once a group of college kids was using my house as a free hotel with free food. Another time was a guy who moved in with us - after asking if he could stay "for a couple of days". Even after we dislodged him by finding him an apartment, he'd come by our place constantly, just walk in the door without even knocking. The last straw was when I was home alone and in the shower. He was trying the front door AND the back door, peeking in all the windows!!!!!!!!!!! The only way to resolve both of these issues was to be "rude" to them.
Lesson here? If someone is rude to you, take a good look first at whether there MAY be a reason for it!!
Re: Rude Behaviour
Most of the time...a person gets rude .....after getting a rude response from the other end.Which i think is totally natural.
Re: Rude Behaviour
It depends on the situation really some people are rude because of what happened them in past and some are proud and so much self entered so they act rudely
