I have been watching a few Punjabi nationalists pages for last couple of years, but we are seeing a sudden rise in strength this movement. The number of pages and groups are increasing day by day on social media. There must be some support of India as rise of Punjabi nationalism would weaken Pakistan Army as it enjoys power and support of Punjab.
other reasons like pashtun sindhi muhajir hating Punjabi are also causing its strength. I wonder what are the consequences of Punjab becoming a mild level nationalist apart from it will hurt federation.
Just yesterday, Fawad chaudhry tweeted on Ranjeet Singh death anniversary. Is he blackmailing PTI?

Pakistan would be better off if it were truer to its roots as a confederation of regional nationalisms instead of having an artificial centralized ideology imposed on it through authoritarian institutions.
I think ti could be due to the rising hate against Punjab in balochistan generally for last 2 decades and now the sudden surge of hate among pakhtoons against punjab. I read very venomous comments on social media against punjabis by pakhtoon ( most probably afgan pakhtoons ) MAny a times even the subject is something else but the ppl start badmouthing punjabis.
