how is that very different from people in Pakistan donating money to built more and more mosques? Again and again I have seen rural (not so sure about urban) communities coming together to built mosques - but not anything like drains/streets/water infrastructure for their community.

i agree its disgusting.. what a waste of time and money… i can understand the old indian kingdoms constructing huge awesome mandirs.. fk they were rich and prosperous… but now there is sooo much poverty.. this temple money should go to a local charity fund or to the govt strictly to build infrastructure.. even is 10% is stolen by corrupt politicians…

these temples churches and mosques are nothing but businesses.. generating sales by selling delusion… and they also get extra tax rebates from the govt..
