Rs 8,500 billion, should be converted into currency of 1990s or 1980s then we can compare the corruption level, otherwise due to inflation this number will always be higher in future.

^ I think the media should highlight any misappropriation being done by the government. Today its ppp tomorrow it will be some one else, if the government is misappropriating tax payer money they should be held accountable for that there's no two ways about that. All the indicators economy, energy, big government corporations etc are in a much dismal situation as compared to when the government took over.

Agree, but media is not playing neutral. Its playing like a Mafia to promote negative image of the country. No doubt Governments are involved in corruption and all that, but they must be doing some efforts. If not with the intent of betterment of people then with the intent of keeping their vote banks in tact. Why such things are not being hilighted. In Amal’s thread, I posted some positive actions by PPP.. I came to know those developments due to my personal links in those areas. Why Media don’t hilight such things. It seems that Media itself is on a mission to promote anarchy. If PPP Govt in corrupt in missappropriating taxpayer’s money then media groups are also tax chors :slight_smile: Doosron ko naseehat khud miyan fazeehat :bummer:

**i remember reading on someones' twitter that how late Salman Taseer who was the boss of business plus channel used to tell them to focus on postive news, and forbid them from showing negativity.

Like IK, like NS, like anyone, everyone is cawing corruption like crows but no one has guts to do anything practically. Get proof and go to court of Chaudhary Iftekhar the super duper CJ only acting against PPP on such cases.

Why media didn’t hilight development work in Multan, Khairpur, etc. We have heard enough of Govt corruption, but they are doing something for their voters that need to be hilighted. Our Media is one of the immature and sensational one in the world :bummer: Don’t you see how Geo News spreaded news about Ajmal Kababb being Pakistani without any investigation. This shows how responsible they are towards the country and its matters.

BTW, it is not just the corruption. PPP's overall performance has brought the country down to its knees. The debt is reaching the roof and severe power crisis causing economic meltdown.

I am very skeptical of Imran Khan, as everyone knows. But after what PPP has done to the country, I am willing to give Imran a chance. Might even vote for him.
