Even if this is fake, this does bring a very important issue to light, why do a majority of muslims tend to put such importance on Mohammed's possessions, his potential burial area, etc. He was just another man according to the Quran and according to himself. Putting so much importance on a hair from his beard, his foot print, etc, is shirk, it's elevating the prophet to a level closer to god, which is haram.
Also, people put a lot of importance on Hadith. Shouldn't the Quran be our guide?? The Quran itself says that it is the complete guide, way of life, yet we go around following Hadith of the prophet which weren't written down until 250 years AFTER his death. The Quran actually says, and I'm not quoting exactly because I don't know the exact words, but something to the effect of: Who are these people that need any Hadith other than this Hadith.
Hadith in arabic means NARRATION, the Quran actually used the word HADITH in relation to itself, and said basically, who needs another narration other than the Quran, which is complete, it is the word of Allah, who is Mohammed, or anyone else to add to the word and teaching of Allah.
Did you know that Mohammed was only allowed to pass the Quran, he wasn't allowed to teach or interpret it?
TOo many things, I shall duck now as a majority of you start throwing rotten tamaatars at me.
aahmed, if someone wants to follow Quran and hadith.. let them do that.. don't impose your ideology on every other human being. You follow Quran, there is nothing wrong.. and certainly no harm in that. In fact its the best way of life.
But what you are preaching there, that got nothing to do with this pic.

Yaar its like this. I am taking college algebra these days. There is a big fat thick birth control manual called "Algebra for College Freaks emm Freshmen". And thats our bibal for that class. In addition to that, there is an old guy namely 'Sir Teacher' who teaches us that manual.
Same with Islam. Quran is The Boook. And Mohammed (SAWS) the preacher.
