The winner besides the prize money will also participate in the inaugural T20 league in December.
2.5 million Rupees, not bad.
Sialkot will have tough time defending their title since Charsi Asif isn't there. Lahore Lions or Karachi Dolphins are good contenders this year.
**
Go Lions.**

Peshawar Region's opener Rafatullah Mohmand is also a steady batsman and made loads of runs during the last year's Pentagular Cup for 2006/07.
I also noticed Islamabad have Shoaib Akhtar in their list.
Giving edge to Lahore Lions, with either Rawalpindi or Karachi as the runner-ups (Khan Sahab is going to murder me).

Re: Royal Bank of Scotland Twenty-20 Cup 2008 (Pakistan’s Domestic T20) Oct 4th-8th
Zaheer Abbas, the former Pakistan captain, has requested the PCB and the government not to hold any matches at night in the country in light of the current security situation.
Pakistan’s domestic Twenty20 tournament, to be held from October 4-8 in Lahore, will feature night matches. “Well, my views are simple and I have told the meeting night cricket these days is not advisable because of the security problem,” Zaheer told PTI. “My viewpoint is that in the prevailing circumstances, God forbid something happens in these night matches, it will lead to a lot of chaos, which would be bad for Pakistan cricket as teams are already not willing to come to here.” (CricInfo)

^^ zaheer like many past players is only giving a statement for the sake of giving a statemnt.
my vote is for the most consistant, most expert tulleybaaz team of the Pak, i.e Sialkot.
EDIT: one a second thought, Sialkot minus nazir is not going to be same power as in past, so i take my vote back.
