…and a great goalie he was. Much better in his younger years though.
I didn't know SHahzad Roy was a goalie too?
A great goalie
But man he was also a jackas$ personality wise
Interesting.......
First he is a famous hockey player, then he is a pakistani singer, and then he stars in the show jackass.
I would say he is a very multitalented fellow.

A great goalie indeed. When he was good, he was great, when he was bad, he really sucked. Many people have told me the same thing, that he was an a**hole, but I've met the guy many times, and he's been nothing but cool to me.
One of those players you always expected to be on the roster everytime the new season rolled in. Not to be anymore eh.
Great goalie no doubt.

You met Patrick Roy?
Come on yaar are you serious?
I only think he is an as$hole cause every time he played in the regular season and his team was up by a goal or two and the other team pulled it;s goalie he would start leaving the crease and trying to score and stuff like that....
Also from when he tried to beat up Chris Osgood and got the worst of it.

Guy Carbeaneau lived down the street from my parents during the time he was with the Canadiens. One of my friends lived right in front of him. Guy used to host some parties in his backyard, and would always invite Craig Ludwig, Patrick Roy, and sometimes Guy Lafleur (who was retired at the time I think). We'd meet them there. Once he even invited us to hang with them in Charbaneau's backyard. It was way cool.
hahahah
thats relaly cool
you actually chilled at Carbanneau's house
i heard his daughter is a bombshell
what did they all speak french?
His wife is a bombshell. My friend tells me they used to always argue
constantly fighting. They would speak french and english both. It was cool.
ahhahhaha
hilarious
you speak french too i assume?
man that is one thing i have always wanted to see, a pakistani who speaks french
although i am sure it wouldnt be so funny since there are likey millions of them for all i know
Yeah, I speak French as well. There isn’t a very big Pakistani community in Montreal, I mean not as compared to Toronto. People here are generally billingual. Being in the West Island of Montreal and going to english school and having english friends, I hardly ever need to use French. The more east you go in Montreal, the more French it becomes. ![]()
Pretty cool...
I have always wanted to go to Montreal, I've heard it is as close as you can get to Europe in North America. I have relatives in Toronto, but like you sid there are'nt many Pakistanis in Montreal so I have never really had to go there.
I have herad that there are many Arabs in Montreal though

Montreal is definitely very European, and yes, along with Quebec City, Montreal is the little Europe of North America. You're right there are plenty of Arabs in Montreal. Most are of lebanese origin, since many have a French mother tongue.
ahahha

Yeah, we sort of went off on a tangent there. Nice chatting with you though :)
