Wow, that’s one great product and I would prefer it when a lot of guests around :slight_smile:

I found the size of the roti quite small but I think the size can be adjusted :slight_smile:

I hope the result is not like tortillas. There have some tortillas makers out in the market but result is not like your ammas roti. I guess it’s a mother love. I absolutely love fresh and hot rotis. I’ve tried freezing them, buying them but nothing like the real thing. This is a great gadget to have but I don’t have much it will make the lives of women/men easier.

I think so nothing can replace the home made roti on tawa. There is also one appliance in market called electrc roti maker but you have to knead ata for it

However sometimes even due to advertising the gadgets look very fancy but in reality the results are not at all accurate. I am very fond of adorning my kitchen with gadgets but this one not in my list. before buying ask someone who has this maker that if it is giving good results or not

Nothing could replace handwritten letters, yet it has been replaced by emails , texts and so on.
Nothing could replace fresh air of the villages, yet most of us willingly move to cities.
Similarly, with time, handmade rotis will also be replaced.

Somethings are even not the benchmarks to compare. I am not talking about science or technology. If emails/texts are here its all by the advancement of networking. We do have dishwashers but half of the work is do be done manually.
if machines could have perfectly replaced humans or some orthodox methods then no man would be having job, all performed by machines or robots

I enjoyed the demonstration on how it works, all very nifty.
But why is the guy putting a bunch of tomatoes on the table, it makes no sense. The lady is painting, all coiffed up, nary a splash of paint here or there.

Lady painting is that to make clear that how comforting is it that there is no such tension to make roti. Tomatoes may be as Salad or just for decor, but I am not justifying their placement just making an opinion pr a guess

The marketing of this product is perfect. It is outstanding. However this is one product that won’t live up to the expectations. It is $3000 In usd. You could hire someone to do it for that prices . There are many gadgets that truly make our lives easier. I had a roti maker that cost $50 put the rotis came out like tortillas not like the roti from the stove . If you neve get use to fresh rotis you have nothing to worry about. there are many many useful gadgets. The electric mixer was wonderful for kneading dough. When I’m upto I just use my hands and the result is pretty good. it’s noble to keep on try to make an affordable gadget for Rotis and puris. Even if it is $300 I would purchase. But 3 thousand is a bit much. I could buy a car for that amount.
