is it just me..? i have been brought up on daal, aloo parathas not rotis.. the kind where u make one roti put daal or aloo on it then put another roti on it and cover the edges nicely and then u put ghee and fry it up.. i never knew u can mix it into the dough, i thot that wud b v v messy considerin the ingredients will fall out, esp if its aloo... no?? :S
You are talking about aloo key parathey or daal waley parathey or qeemay key parathey...where things are stuffed rather than kneaded in the dough. Both methods are different and yeild different results.
