Roti problem solved.

Re: Roti problem solved.

What if the roTi gets jammed in there like paper in a copier/printer ? :bummer:

Re: Roti problem solved.

do what you do with the copier lol

but that does look like a copier though…

Re: Roti problem solved.

Oh but there’s something cool and sexy about being able to make rotis by hand. Like a matter of pride. I can only make parathas and God knows how I manage that even, rotis are hard. I suck at them, but then again I gave up too soon. :hinna:

Re: Roti problem solved.

Indeed. You just saved yourself $600.00

Re: Roti problem solved.

I would NOT mind a rotimatic in my house! We don’t really eat roti but hey…it’d be nice to impress people with fresh haat ki roti and then hide the machine

Re: Roti problem solved.

a wife would be cheaper!

Re: Roti problem solved.

We have to look at the long run mate.

Re: Roti problem solved.

you eman maintennance cost? i can contract that out and make her pay for it! :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Roti problem solved.

You know what I mean :hoonh:

Re: Roti problem solved.

Thats what they said.

Re: Roti problem solved.

Seems like a genius invention but I wont buy it until I read some good reviews on it. This machine just seems too good to be true.

Re: Roti problem solved.

I can’t see this being successful.

We have bread-makers yet we buy our bread. And roti isn’t hard to make and takes few mins.

Gimmicky.

Re: Roti problem solved.

Says a man. :hehe:

Re: Roti problem solved.

^i was going to say the same thing. making roti is not easy. first we have to learn how to make a good dough, then figure out how to roll it properly, then figure out how to properly cook it. its a multi step process and so much can go wrong. I still can’t make round soft rotis and I have been trying to learn for so long. If this machine works good, i think it can make life very easy for many of us who just cannot make good rotis no matter how hard we try.

Re: Roti problem solved.

Hmm..couldn’t roti-making be accomplished with a regular bread maker on the flatbread setting? Many breadmakers have that setting (ours does I think) and rotis are a type of flatbread after all (I may be wrong about this). It doesn’t seem like it would require an entirely separate machine.

Re: Roti problem solved.

i love the idea of this rotimatic. but rotis are too small.

Re: Roti problem solved.

^ Perfect portion control. :hehe:

Re: Roti problem solved.

Roti - such a simple little thing but apparently the root to all evil :teary2:

Re: Roti problem solved.

Not anymore. Now that this machine has arrived the rotis will always be round. what about parathas, naans? Does the machine make them too.
